This blog is a group blog to allow CDU multimedia and music students to pitch ideas, hook up, broadcast known events etc. Our end goal is to create some multimedia and musical products that will be repurposed for presentation at the end of he year exhibitions.
Emerge Multimedia Project To Date:
Here are the ideas that are "emerging"
• Obviously a website
• Possibly similar Flash-based Eclosion-like DVD/CDR
• Screen captures of student work
• BCAI promo
• CDU promo (maybe the Youtube videos that Donal is suggesting)
• Tuesday Music Performance - multicamera shoot
The Making of Emerge - Filming - Panel interview with GD Advancees … asking:
• How hard was it to organize?
• What were some ups and downs of the whole process?
• Tips for future Exhibition planners?
• What do you think about the level and kind of community support you are obtaining?
• How does this exhibition process compare to what you've experienced before? What went smoother, what went rougher?
• Film - Humour if your planning team partner was a famous movie star - who would you say they were, e.g., Myke - Michael Jackson … cut to MJ/Thriller Clip …etc.
• Contemporary Melbourne Artist, Godwin Bradbeer, is noted for suggesting that "art is only a hobby activity until it is exhibited publicly" - What do you think?
• How do you feel about being put into the spotlight?

Yeah - good to have ya on board Emma - I know Phil is really keen on film as well and has some analog footage from SeaBreeze he wants to get dumped to diigital and then to a computer. Not sure if he got that done yet.
